Chestnut-sided Warblers are much more prevalent in fall, but have been recorded on multiple occasions in spring, as well. The woods at Montague Village are a reliable place to find these birds. In the summer months, many Chestnut-sided Warblers will nest along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Pictures: top left and bottom right show breeding plumage; bottom left shows non-breeding plumage.
