On January 10, 2004, students in the Environmental Action Group helped the South Carolina Native Plant Society to relocate plants from the future landfill site to several sites along the Reedy river, including the river property behind the Chamber of Commerce, the property across from the YMCA, and on the Long Branch site.  The plants will also be sold at the society's native plant sale on April 3.
