Dragonflies and Damselflies

Lee State Park

Lee County, SC

As a part of the South Carolina State Parks "All Taxa Biological Inventory", I am conducting surveys of odonates (dragonflies and damselflies) at various parks. New county records (designated with a red asterisk-*) will be reported to OdonataCentral (Abbott 2008). The survey at Lee State Natural Area began in June 2010. Scroll over the name of each species to see a picture in the box to the right. This list also includes species found on the Lynches River, from US 15 south to the park.
