The Furman Forest

As a part of the Furman Forest initiative, Furman University faculty and students are conducting surveys of various taxonomic groups. This amphibian survey was begun in Summer 2008 by Ben Delancey (pictured; Furman Biology major, class of 2010) and Dr. Wade Worthen. As surveys progress, we will activate the links for surveyed groups. Through this research, we hope to catalog the species that are present and track changes in populations of special concern. Scoll over the names to see images of the species.
