ETSU DOWNS FURMAN 3-1 IN SOUTHERN CONFERENCE ACTION
GREENVILLE, South Carolina -- The Lady Paladin volleyball team was handed it's first Southern Conference loss Sunday, by scores of 15-7, 11-15, 15-6, 15-5.
The ETSU Buccaneers posted eleven team blocks to defeat the Paladins. Middle Blocker Natalie Barrett led the Bucs with 21 kills and 20 digs. Alice Arnold added 18 kills, and Jena Policastro had 17 digs en route to the ETSU victory.
The Lady Paladins were led by Freshman Carrie Rowley with 11 kills, while Krisy Wilson posted 21 digs. Furman ended the match with a total of three team blocks.
The Paladins next match is at Chattanooga, Friday October 1, at 7:00p.m.
