FURMAN'S CARRIE ROWLEY NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK

GREENVILLE, South Carolina -- Furman volleyball freshman Carrie Rowley, an outside hitter from Lighthouse Point, Fla., was named Southern Conference Player of the Week on Tuesday.

Rowley tallied 65 kills, a .295 hitting percentage, eight service aces, 46 digs, and seven blocks in four matches last week. Rowley's totals for digs and aces led the team and she was second in kills and hitting percentage.

Rowley is the first Lady Paladin volleyballer to earn Southern Conference Player of the Week this season.
