Furman's Lady Paladin volleyball team fell to 0-7 on the year Saturday with a 15-12, 15-8, 15-7 loss to Kansas in the Jayhawk's annual invitational.

Sophomore Carrie Rowley led the Lady Paladin team with 14 kills, while Abby Simon totaled a team-high 13 digs. In addition, freshman Amber Montague claimed 11 kills and the team totaled four blocks.

The Jayhawks were led by Amy Myatt's 13 kills, while Nancy Bell totaled a team-high 12 digs. The Kansas defense overwhelmed Furman with 11 team blocks, including one solo and five assists by Danielle Geronymo.

Furman will face West Virginia at 5 p.m. Saturday, in the Lady Paladins final match of the tournament.
