Furman's Lady Paladin volleyball team fell to Ole Miss 18-16, 15-9, 11-15, 15-7 in the first round of the Kansas Invitational on Friday. With the loss, the Furman season record dropped to 0-5.

Despite the loss, four Lady Paladins had double digit kills, including Shawn Beckham, who led the team in both kills and digs with 14 each. The Rebels were led by Jaime Burns' 18 kills and Renata Nowacki's 13 digs.

The Lady Paladins will face East Carolina later today.
