FURMAN VOLLEYBALLERS REPORT FOR PRESEASON
GREENVILLE, South Carolina --Furman's Lady Paladin volleyball team reported to campus on Thursday and will begin preseason practice Monday at the Blue Ridge Assembly.
Head coach Michelle Young returns eight players from the 2002 squad that posted a 21-14 overall record and placed third in the Southern Conference. In addition to returning senior setter Michelle Cauldwell, Young returns players with starting experience in Amber Montague, Rosey Cashman, Julia Fredrickson, and Caitlin White.
The team will spend three days as the Blue Ridge Assembly practicing, conditioning, and team building, before returning for their first practice in Timmons Arena on Thursday, August 14.
The Lady Paladins open the 2003 season August 29 at the Morehead State Tournament, and have their first home match September 5, versus Gardner-Webb.
