FURMAN FALLS TO 0-3 IN VOLLEYBALL; FREDRICKSON EARNS ALL TOURNAMENT

MOREHEAD, Kentucky -- The Furman volleyball team fell to 0-3 on Saturday with a pair of 3-0 losses to Morehead State and IUPUI in the Morehead Invitational.

MSU topped the Lady Paladins 30-11, 30-22, 30-18 in Furman’s first match of the day, then IUPUI defeated FU 30-21, 30-19, 30-25 in match two.

Despite the losses, Lady Paladin senior Julia Fredrickson was named to the all tournament team. Fredrickson led Furman with 25 kills and seven blocks in three matches.
