Furman Women Finish 12th at Clemson Invitational

GREENVILLE, South Carolina -- The Furman women's track team finished 12th in the Clemson Invitational indoor track meet, Friday, at Littlejohn Coliseum in Clemson South Carolina.

The meet was comprised of runners from 15 schools in which the University of South Carolina and The University of Georgia finished first and second respectively.

Individually, Furman's Lory Gray finished seventh in the one mile run with a time of 5:18, and behind her was Erin Howard with a ninth place finish and a time of 5:21. In the 1,000 meter run, Anne Tominack placed ninth with a time of 3:07. The Furman relay team finished seventh in the 4X400 meter relay with a time of 4:07.

The Lady Paladin track team will compete in the UNC Asheville Invitational on Saturday, January 22, in Asheville NC.
