 2001-02: Took fourth in flight one at the Southern Conference Indoor shot put competition with a mark of 32¹8-1/2²... Recorded a season-best throw of 37¹4² during the outdoor season at the Furman Invitational, where she took first... Also recorded bests of 95¹2² in the Javelin, 113¹8² in the discus and 97¹2² in the hammer... Won the Furman Invite discus with a mark of 107¹1²... Named to Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll. 2000-01: Sidelined with injuries for part of the indoor and outdoor seasons, but managed to set a school record for the 20lb weight with a toss of 33¹3² at the Clemson Invitational Indoor... Took second at the Furman Invitational shot with a mark of 37¹2-1/4² and was fourth in the discus with a 92¹8² showing. High School: Regional and upstate champion in both the discus and shot put... Won the state shot championship and was second in the discus... Personal best in the shot is 41'4-1/2" and 120'4" in the discus... Regional MVP in track and named All-State... WYFF Channel 4 Player of the Year in track and field... Also played soccer, softball, and basketball in high school... Member of the Beta Club and Mu Alpha Theta.
