FURMAN'S JILL BRALEY NAMED SOCON RUNNER OF THE WEEK
FOR THE SECOND TIME THIS SEASON

Furman senior Jill Braley was named Southern Conference Runner of the Week, announced on Wednesday September 27.

Jill Braley continues to impress as the league's top ranked runner after posting a third consecutive career best with a 17:40 in the Great American Cross Country Classic 5k race. Braley led the Lady Paladins, finishing 19th out of 202 runners, and pacing Furman in the eighth place finish. Braley has been honored as the SoCon Runner of the Week three times in her career, this being her second of the season. A senior from Marietta, GA, Braley is planning to graduate in the spring with a Health and Exercise Science degree.
