GREENVILLE, S.C.-- The Ultimate Mix: SC Pros and the Furman Chicks Pro-Am mixed doubles fundraiser hosted by the Furman women's tennis program has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 5 due to inclement weather. The event will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m that evening. All proceeds from the pro-am will go directly into an established endowment at Furman University for a womenıs tennis scholarship.
The event will feature tennis professionals from the Greenwood Country Club, Thornblade Country Club, Greenville Country Club, Greenville Raquet Club, Holly Tree Country Club, Green Valley Country Club, and the Greer Recreation Department, in addition to the Furman Lady Paladin tennis team.
The Pro-Am will also include a coffee
and dessert bar, a raffle for gifts from upstate businesses, and a silent auction
for prizes that have been donated by various Furman supporters.
Admission will be $5.00 at the door. Tickets
that have already been sold will be honored at the March 5 event.
