FURMAN TENNIS TEAMS SET FOR BIG WEEKEND OF TOURNAMENT ACTION

GREENVILLE, S.C.-- The Furman men and women's tennis teams will be busy this weekend with a schedule full of fall tournament action. While the men's team will send players to Georgia Tech and Wofford, the Lady Paladins will travel to Clemson to participate in the Clemson Fall Invitational.

The men's team will look to continue the success it has enjoyed thus far in the fall season. The Paladins are led by James Cameron, who advanced to the round of 64 in the ITA All-American Pre-Qualifier. Cameron and partner Patrick Fillnow are currently the 41st ranked doubles duo in the country.

Meanwhile, the Lady Paladins will face stiff competition at the Clemson Fall Invitational as teams from the Air Force Academy, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, Georgia State, North Greenville, Troy State, and Winthrop will all be present. The Lady Paladin tennis players have already been matched up against competitors from nationally ranked Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Middle Tennessee State, Iowa, and Wisconsin this fall.
