GREENVILLE, S.C.-- The Vanderbilt and South Carolina women's tennis teams dominated day two of the Furman Fall Classic on Saturday at Mickel Tennis Center in Greenville, S.C. While the Lady Commodores will have four players competing in singles flight championships on Sunday, the Lady Gamecocks will have three players aiming for titles.

In flight one, Vanderbilt's Sarah Riske, the No. 10 player in the country, won her opening round match against South Carolina's Jodi Kenoyer, 6-2, 6-2. Riske then had to hold off Furman's Mary Kovarik in a three hour three-set battle 4-6, 7-5, 6-4 to move on to the final, where she will play Clemson's Julie Coin.

In flight two action, Vanderbilt's Audra Falk won her semifinal match against Lady Paladin Mary Neill Hagood, 6-2, 7-5. Falk will face South Carolina's Ayako Suzuki in the championship.

Two more Vanderbilt-South Carolina encounters will occur in the flight three and four title matches. While South Carolina's Danielle Wiggins will play Vanderbilt's Kori Scott in the flight three championship, Vanderbilt's Ashley Schellhas will face Lady Gamecock Magda Wojdylo in the flight four final.

Furman's Lauren Welch advanced to the flight five championship, where she will battle Iowa's Gloria Okino. Welch defeated Wisconsin's Lexi Goldin 6-2, 1-6, 6-4 and Clemson's Anna Dolinska 6-1, 6-3 en route to the final.

The singles championships will begin on Sunday at 9:00 a.m.
