FURMAN WOMEN'S TENNIS DOWNS BOSTON COLLEGE, UC SANTA BARBARA IN UNLV INVITATIONAL

LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The Furman women's tennis team defeated Boston College 4-3 in the second round of the UNLV Spring Invitational at the Fertitta Tennis Complex on Saturday. After claiming the doubles point by sweeping all three matches, Furman tallied three victories in singles as Megan Dunigan, Mary Kovarik, and Caroline Bentley each won.

Furman then defeated UC Santa Barbara 5-1 on Sunday as the Lady Paladins took five of six singles matches en route to the victory. The Lady Paladins, who placed fifth in the tournament, did not have to play doubles matches against the Gauchos.

Furman (7-2) will next face Georgia State in Atlanta on March 9th at 1:00 p.m.
