GREENVILLE, S.C.-- The 52nd ranked Furman Lady Paladin tennis team (22-3, 9-0 SoCon) will face No. 48 LSU (12-12, 3-8 SEC) at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 11th in Chapel Hill, N.C. in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. This is Furman's fourth consecutive trip to the NCAA's.

The Southern Conference champion Lady Paladins, who have never won an NCAA Tournament match, are seeded third in the four-team regional featuring host North Carolina, LSU, Furman, and Loyola (Md.). The winner of the Furman-LSU match will face the North Carolina-Loyola (Md.) victor on Sunday, May 12th at 1:00 p.m. for the right to advance to the round of 16 in Palo Alto, California. Third round action begins May 16th.
