FURMAN LADY PALADIN TENNIS SET TO FACE CLEMSON

GREENVILLE, S.C.-- The Furman Lady Paladin tennis team will seek its second straight victory versus an Atlantic Coast Conference opponent when the Clemson Tigers pay Mickel Tennis Center a visit on Saturday at 12:00 p.m.

Furman is currently 3-1 on the season, including a pair of 7-0 wins against UNC Charlotte and Winthrop and a 6-1 victory against ACC foe N.C State. The Lady Paladins' lone setback on the year came at the hands of No. 22 South Carolina, 6-1.

Clemson, meanwhile, is 2-2 on the year, including a 4-3 triumph against College of Charleston and a 6-1 romp against Georgia State. The Tigers have dropped a 4-3 decision to No. 70 Middle Tennessee State and a 6-1 match against in-state foe South Carolina.

Clemson holds a 32-2 all-time record against Furman, including last year's 6-1 decision in favor of the Tigers.
