FURMAN WOMEN'S TENNIS FALLS TO NO. 20 SOUTH CAROLINA

GREENVILLE ‹ The Furman women's tennis team was defeated by No. 20 South Carolina 6-1 at the Mickel Tennis Center on the campus of Furman University. The loss drops the Lady Paladins to 2-1 on the year.

Furman's lone victory came at No. 1 singles, with Megan Dunigan beating Lady Gamecock Jen Radman in three sets 5-7, 6-2, 6-1.

Furman's Meredith Moore also played three sets, losing a hard-fought match against South Carolina's Kathy Boyanovich 6-3, 4-6, 6-1.

The Lady Paladins will next face Clemson University on Friday at Clemson starting at 3:00 p.m. Furman will face Middle Tennesse State and Presbyterian at home on Sunday beginning at 10:00 a.m.
