Sedona, Arizona- The Furman women's tennis team moved to 4-5 on the spring season as the Lady Paladins rumbled their way to a 6-1 victory over the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks.

Megan Dunigan, Meredith Moore, Gene Holman, Natalie The, and Shellie Cochran all won in easy fashion as Furman successfully ended its road trip to Arizona. The Lady Paladins had previously dropped two matches to Arizona and Northern Arizona.

The lone Furman setback came at No. 5 singles, as Lumberjack Karen Kmiec defeated Lady Paladin Krista Thomson 6-1, 6-4.

Furman opened the match by sweeping all the doubles matches in easy fashion against the Lumberjacks.

The Lady Paladins will next face North Carolina State on March 10 in Raleigh, N.C.
