FURMAN WOMEN'S TENNIS TO HOST #3 WAKE FOREST

GREENVILLE The Furman women's tennis team will host third-ranked Wake Forest Sunday at the Minor Mickel Tennis Center. The third-ranked Deacons are believed to be the highest ranked team to ever visit Furman campus in women's tennis.

Wake Forest enters the match with a 14-1 record after defeating Duke 6-3 on Wednesday to end Duke's 116-match ACC winning streak.

Furman enters the match with a 12-6 record and have currently won six matches in a row. The Lady Paladins are breezing through the Southern Confernece schedule as they are 6-0 and have only dropped one singles match in 36 tries this season against conference opponents.

Five members of the Wake Forest women's tennis team hold national rankings in the top 75.
