FURMAN WOMEN'S TENNIS EARNS NATIONAL RANKING

GREENVILLE The Furman University women's tennis team is ranked 72nd in the nation in the latest WingspanBank.com Collegiate Tennis Rankings as determined by the ITA's average point per match computer formula.

The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) ranks the nation's top 75 programs. This is the first time the Lady Paladins have been ranked in the nation since 1994.

The Lady Paladins are 6-5 on the season, while all of their losses have come to ranked opponents. Furman travels to Atlanta, Ga., on Saturday to face 28th ranked Georgia Tech.
