General: A hard worker who strikes the ball well...A solid all-court player who needs to develop match toughness and stay healthy to realize her full potential.

High School/Junior Tennis: Helped lead Orchard Park to five division championships, while earning sportsmanship and MVP honors as a senior... High School team won a state record 155 straight matches... Won the Erie County singles championship as a junior and advanced to the round of 16 at the state tournament during junior and senior seasons... Tallied a 102-5 overall singles record during prep career... Selected to all-conference squad three times... Earned a gold medal in the Empire State Games as a junior... Won the Western New York doubles championship in 1998... A member of the National Honor Society and was a National Merit Scholar... Received the Orchard Park Teachers Academic Excellence Award and the Female Scholar Athlete Award in 1999... Active in Young Life.

Personal: Krista Mills Thomson was born January 15, 1981, in St. Charles, Illinois.... Plans to major in pre-med.
