1997-98: Had a highly successful freshman season, tallying a 15-6 overall singles mark and a perfect 7-0 SoCon regular season record... Won her last 11 matches of the season, including three in the Southern Conference Tournament... Earned important non-conference victories over Memphis' Betsy Card and North Carolina State's Marissa Gildenmeister... Saw limited action in doubles, posting a combined 4-2 mark with four difference partners... Named Southern Conference Tournament Most Valuable Player.
