Furman's Dunigan Ranked In Nation

GREENVILLE -- Furman women's tennis freshman Megan Dunigan is currently ranked 100th in the nation in singles according to the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) women's rankings.

Furman's career leader in singles victories, Janey Strause was ranked 90th in the ITCA rankings at the conclusion of the 1986 season and 94th at the end of the 1987 season.

Dunigan has posted a 4-4 spring singles record at No. 1 singles and tallied a 10-4 singles record last fall. She is ranked 22nd in the Southeast Region.

Dunigan enters her first collegiate season after posting an 82-0 prep record at Oak Ridge High School. She was ranked 73rd in the nation in junior tennis.
