Furman Picked First In SoCon Preseason Poll

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Southern Conference women's tennis coahes tabbed Furman as the favorite to win the 1998 tennis season. Furman received three of nine first place votes and garnered 72 points. The Lady Paladins edged out Chattanooga by one point for first place.
