Moore Named Freshman-of-the-Year

Greenville, S.C. -- Furman freshman Meredith Moore was named Southern Conference Freshman-of-the-Year and was named to the 1998 all-conference squad on Thursday.

Moore, a freshman from Lewisville, N.C., is 13-5 on the year and finished an impressive 6-1 in the Southern Conference.
