PALADIN TENNIS FALLS TO NO. 18 ALABAMA 6-1


TUSCALOOSA, Alabama -- Furman’s Paladin tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to the 18th ranked Tide of Alabama Saturday at the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

The Paladins avoided a shutout when Kevin Lackey at No. 6 singles scored the lone Paladin victory with a 7-5, 7-6 (10-7) win over the Tide’s Tom McVey. With the loss the Paladins fall to 0-3 on the season, while the 18th-ranked Tide improves to 2-0.

The Paladins will play at Georgia on Friday, Feb. 20, at 2:30.
