FURMAN TENNIS PROGRAMS SET FOR SOUTHERN CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT

CHARLESTON, S.C.-- The Furman men and women's tennis programs will participate in the Southern Conference tournament on April 17-19 in Charleston, S.C. While the third-seeded men will face Chattanooga at The Citadel's Earle Tennis Center at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, the top-seeded Lady Paladins will square off against East Tennessee State at The City of Charleston Farmfield Courts at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday.

The Furman men's team currently owns a 13-11 overall record and 7-2 conference mark. The Paladins, who will aim for their 11th conference tournament title, defeated Chattanooga on April 12 by a 7-0 count.

The Lady Paladins (15-8, 9-0 SoCon), who defeated East Tennessee State 7-0 earlier this season, will gun for their sixth consecutive conference tournament title and twelfth overall. Furman has won 53 consecutive matches against conference opponents.
