FURMAN'S CAMERON ADVANCES TO FINAL ROUND OF ITA QUALIFYING

ATLANTA, Ga.-- Furman's James Cameron advanced to the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association round of qualifying for the All-American Players Tournament in Atlanta, Georgia this past weekend. Cameron defeated Derrick Nguyen of UCLA 3-6, 7-6, 6-2, Andy Michael of DePaul 7-5, 3-6, 6-3, and Elgardo Rivera of Ball State 7-6, 6-3.

John Chesworth advanced to the third round with wins over Tom Givans of Alabama 6-1, 6-1, and Nathan Zeder of #6 ranked Illinois 6-2, 3-6, 7-6 before losing to Jason Pongsrkup of San Diego 6-3, 6-4.
