FURMAN MEN'S TENNIS BRACES FOR NO. 54 GEORGIA TECH

Greenville, S.C.-- The Furman men's tennis team will face its fourth highly ranked opponent on Wednesday as the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets pay a visit to Mickel Tennis Center on the campus of Furman University.The Paladins, 6-5 on the season, and Georgia Tech, ranked No. 54 in the country, will square off at 2:30 P.M.

Since February 26, the Paladins have dropped matches against No. 43 Vanderbilt, No. 8 Georgia, and No. 32 Wake Forest. On February 13, Furman stunned No. 26 North Carolina in a 4-3 thriller that came down to the final match.

Furman is looking to gain some momentum as the Southern Conference schedule approaches. The Paladins are slated to play Wofford, Appalachian State, and Davidson this weekend, with the Appalachian State match being played at home on Saturday at 1:30 PM.
