FURMAN SOFTBALL SIGNS ONE

GREENVILLE, South Carolina -- Furman head softball coach Bonnie Flynn announced on Tuesday the signing of Kelli Leachman to a National Letter of Intent.

Leachman is a senior shortstop at St. Vincent Pallotti High School in Laurel, Md. Her athletic honors include first-team National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American South Division as a junior, and first-team Washington Catholic Athletic Conference selections as a freshman, sophomore, and junior. In addition, Leachman was named to the All Prince Georges County Team and was a second-team All-Metro selection as a sophomore and junior.

In addition to her high school career, Leachman plays on the American Softball Associationšs Gold summer ball team, the Maryland Dynasty.
