EMILY TURGEON EARNS THIRD TEAM ALL-SOUTH HONORS

GREENVILLE, SC -- Furman senior Emily Turgeon was selected to the NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America) All-South Region third team this week.

Turgeon led Furman in scoring with 13 goals and four assists for 30 points. Turgeon, the 2000 and 2002 Southern Conference Player-of-the-Year, earns her third NSCAA All-South pick of her career, as she was a second team selection in 2000 and 2002.

Turgeon finished her Furman career this fall as the Lady Paladins¹ all-time leader in both points and goals, while finishing second in career assists. She tallied 57 goals and 34 assists over her career for 148 points.

Furman finished the season with a 15-5-2 overall record as it claimed its fifth straight Southern Conference regular season title.
