EMILY TURGEON NAMED SOUTHERN CONFERENCE CO-PLAYER-OF-THE-WEEK

GREENVILLE, SC -- Furman junior Emily Turgeon was named Southern Conference Co-Player-of-the-Week on Tuesday.

Turgeon helped Furman to two SoCon wins over Chattanooga on Friday and a double overtime victory against Western Carolina on Sunday. Turgeon scored the game-winning goal against Western Carolina and tallied the first two goals of the match against Chattanooga. Turgeon currently leads the conference with ten goals on the season, moving her into second place all-time at Furman with 38 career goals.

Furman returns to action on Friday as it hosts Georgia Southern and Co-Player-of-the-Week Jackie Kinsey at 7 p.m.
