FURMAN WOMEN'S SOCCER RANKED 10TH IN SOUTHEAST REGION

GREENVILLE - The Furman women's soccer team is ranked tenth in the Southeast Region by the NSCAA and Soccer Buzz in rankings released on Tuesday.

The Lady Paladins jumped into the regional rankings for the first time this season this week after defeating 25th ranked Michigan State 1-0 on Saturday night.

North Carolina is ranked first in both polls, with undefeated Charlotte placing second.

Furman is 13-5-1 on the season and enters the Southern Conference Tournament as the No. 1 seed after a perfect 10-0 regular season in the conference. The Lady Paladins will take on ETSU in the first round on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. in Greensboro, N.C.
