Furman Women's Soccer Remains in Regional Top Ten

GREENVILLE ­ The Furman women's soccer team remained in the Top Ten of the Soccer Buzz and NSCAA Southeast regional polls this week. The Lady Paladins dropped one spot to ninth in Soccer Buzz and is tenth in the NSCAA poll.

Furman, currently 5-2 on the season and 2-0 in the Southern Conference, is coming off two convincing wins over tough conference rivals. The Lady Paladins defeated Davidson 4-1 on Friday night and UNC Greensboro 3-0 on Sunday afternoon.

The Lady Paladins will travel to Lexington, Ky., this weekend to participate in the Traditional Bank Invitational hosted by the University of Kentucky. Furman will play New Mexico and Arizona State in the tournament.
