FURMAN WOMEN'S SOCCER PREPARES TO BATTLE NATIONALLY RANKED CLEMSON

GREENVILLE, SC -- The Furman women's soccer team will host No. 8 Clemson on Tuesday night at 7:00 at Eugene Stone III Soccer Stadium.

The Lady Paladins are currently 7-3-1 on the season and 3-0 in the Southern Conference after dispensing of Wofford 9-0 on Saturday. Sophomore forward Danielle Petro tied the Furman single game record for goals as she scored four times in the match.

Clemson enters the match 8-1 on the season and ranked eighth in the Women's Soccer Media Poll.

"We are looking forward to playing Clemson," said Furman head coach Brian Lee. "They are one of the best teams in the region and in the nation and it will be a great measuring stick for us. Last seasonšs match was a great contest and we look forward to hosting Clemson this time."

Clemson and Furman met last season with Clemson winning a close 1-0 match at Riggs Field in Clemson.
