"This was a good match," said Furman head coach Brian Lee. "I thought we played well for the most part, well enough to win. We just need that extra bit of energy and determination to win a match like this. Arizona State proved this weekend that they are an excellent team."

Furman's Danielle Petro, Melissa Turner, and Emily Turgeon were named to the all-tournament team.

Furman falls to 6-3 on the season, while Arizona State improves to 6-2 on the year. The Paladins entered the week ranked ninth in the South Region.
