"To have three athletes selected as Scholar Athlete All Americans is a tremendous honor," said Furman head coach Brian Lee. "Kaye and Melissa helped push this program over the top with their performance on the field as well as in the classroom and Katie is following in those footsteps."

Furman is coming off a 13-7-1 season in which it won the Southern Conference regular season for the third straight seasons.
