FURMAN WOMEN'S SOCCER RANKED IN REGION

GREENVILLE, SC -- The Furman women's soccer team is ranked 7th in the latest Soccer Buzz Southeast Region poll and 8th in the latest NSCAA Southeast Region rankings after downing 23rd ranked Iowa last week. Furman has been ranked in the region's top ten for the entire season.

The Lady Paladins, who have already set a school record for wins in a season with 17, defeated Georgia State 2-1 and Iowa 1-0 last week. Along with wins in a season, Furman has set school records for shutouts, goals, assists, and road wins this year.

The Lady Paladins are 17-2 on the season and will host Western Carolina in the first round of the Southern Conference Tournament on Tuesday.
