FURMAN WOMEN'S SOCCER REMAINS 8TH IN REGION

GREENVILLE, SC -- The Furman women's soccer team remained eighth in this week's NSCAA and Soccer Buzz Southeast Region Rankings. Furman has been ranked in the Southeast Region Top Ten for the entire 1999 season.

The Lady Paladins, having their best season in school history, are 11-2 on the season. Furman defeated Wofford 3-2 in overtime and shutout Chattanooga 8-0 with eight second half goals last week.

Furman will host Davidson in a huge Southern Conference match Tuesday at 7 p.m. in a battle of the conference's only two unbeaten teams.
