FURMAN WOMEN'S SOCCER RANKED SIXTH IN FINAL REGION POLL

GREENVILLE, SC -- The Furman women's soccer team is ranked sixth in the final Soccer Buzz Southeast Region poll and seventh in the final NSCAA Southeast Region rankings after winning the Southern Confernece Tournament last weekend. Furman has been ranked in the region's top ten for the entire season. The Lady Paladins are also receiving votes in Soccer Buzz' final national top 25 as the Lady Paladins place 29th in the nation.

The Lady Paladins, who have already set a school record for wins in a season with 20, defeated Western Carolina, Wofford, and Davidson to win their first Southern Conference Tournament Championship.

The Lady Paladins are 20-2 on the season and will host Central Florida in the first round of the NCAA Women's College Cup on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. The Golden Knights are tenth in the NSCAA regional poll.
