FURMAN WOMEN'S SOCCER TO FACE #23 IOWA

GREENVILLE, SC -- The Furman women's soccer team will host 23rd-ranked Iowa in its last regular season match of the season on Frday at 7 p.m.

The Lady Paladins are having their best season in school history at 16-2 and have their sites set on the NCAA Tournament. The Hawkeyes finished third in the Big Ten and are 12-5 overall. The third-year program kjust achieved its first-ever national rankings as it is ranked 23rd in the nation in the Soccer Buzz Top 25.

"This will be a big test for our program," said Furman head coach Brian Lee. "We've had a great season and now we can see how we match up against one of the best teams in the Big Ten. A win over Iowa would go a long way towards generating the respect our program deserves."

Furman will honor seniors Melissa Sutton and Tara Brexel prior to the start of the match. The Lady Paladins will be back in action on Tuesday, November 2 in the first round of the Southern Conference Tournament against either Western Carolina or Appalachian State.

Ticket prices are set at $3 for adults and $1 for children.
