Lindsey Facciolo Joins Lady Paladins

GREENVILLE, SC -- Furman head women's soccer coach Brian Lee announced the signing of Lindsey Facciolo to a national letter-of-intent Friday. Barnes becomes the seventh to sign with the Lady Paladins this spring.

Facciolo is from Tampa, Fla. and led Tampa Prep with 34 goals and 12 assists during her senior season. She was selected as the Tampa Tribune Player-of-the-Year this season. She has led her club team, the Shasta Margate Blitz, to the Florida State championship and a regional appearance.

Facciolo can play either forward or defender and is a member of the Florida Olympic Development Program (ODP).

"I am really excited about Lindsey joining the program," said Lee. "She should make an immediate impact at one of several positions."

Facciolo will be one of ten incoming freshmen joining the Lady Paladins in the fall.
