GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Lady Paladin goalkeeper Jen McNutt is ranked in both saves and Goals Against Average in the latest South Region soccer rankings.
McNutt, a junior from Pleasanton, Calif., has recorded 56 saves on the year and is ranked fifth in the region. Her Goals Against Average of 1.22 places McNutt fifteenth, while her three shutouts are fourth-best in the South Region.
"Jen has played well this season,Ó Furman head coach Brian Lee said. ÒShe has done a great job keeping us close in some tough matches."
Furman is also ranked seventh in the Region in average home attendance with 370 spectators a game. The Lady Paladins are coming off a 2-1 victory over Florida State last Sunday and are 5-4-1 overall, 1-1 in the Southern Conference. Furman travels to Lynchburg, Va. Wednesday to face Liberty and to Wilmington, N.C. Friday to face UNC Wilmington.
