GREENVILLE, S.C. Furman goalkeeper Jen McNutt is ranked in both saves and Goals Against Average in the latest South Region rankings.
McNutt, a junior from Pleasantown, Calif., has recorded 35 saves on the year and is ranked fourth in the region. Her Goals Against Average of 0.50 places McNutt eight in the region. In addition, McNuttıs three shutouts are third-best in the South Region. Jen was named Southern Conference Player-of-the-Week last week thanks to her performances against N.C. State and Elon.
³Jen has been solid throughout the early part of the season,² Furman head coach Brian Lee said. ³She hasnıt allowed more than one goal in any of our games this season, which is a tremendous advantage.²
Furman is also ranked seventh in the Region in average home attendance with 391 spectators a game.
