Three Lady Paladins Ranked In South Region

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Lady Paladin defender Liz Bielefeld, striker Melissa Sutton and goalkeeper Jen McNutt are ranked in the latest Southeast Region soccer rankings.

Senior Liz Bielefeld is now ranked 20th in the Southeast Region in scoring with nine goals and seven assists on the year. Melissa Sutton, a forward from Raleigh, N.C., is third in the region in match-winning goals with five this season. Jen McNutt, a junior from Pleasanton, Calif., has recorded 91 saves on the year and is ranked eighth in the region. Her Goals Against Average of 0.90 places McNutt third, while her seven shutouts are second-best in the South Region.

Furman is also ranked seventh in the region in average home attendance with 331 spectators a game. The Lady Paladins are 12-6-1 overall, 4-3 in the Southern Conference. Furman will host Davidson Tuesday at 7:00 in the first round of the Southern Conference tournament.
