Furman goalkeeper Jen McNutt was named Southern Conference Player-of-the-Week in women's soccer. McNutt recorded nine saves, including three diving saves against N.C. State and registered seven saves against Elon.
McNutt was also named the goalkeeper on the 1997 Umbro Kickoff Classic All-Tournament Team, beating out goalies from N.C. State, Elon, and Charleston Southern.
