GREENVILLE, SC -- The Furman men's soccer team will open its 2004 spring schedule Friday night at home against club team, the Aiken Fire. The match is the first of five playing dates on the spring slate for the Paladins.
Three of the five spring matches will be played at Eugene Stone III Soccer Stadium as the Paladins will play host to Southern Wesleyan on March 13 and Presbyterian College of April 7. Furman will travel to Rock Hill, S.C. on March 27 to take on Winthrop and Radford. The Paladins will also visit Atlanta, Ga., to face Mercer on April 3.
"This schedule will be a good test for our team," said Furman head coach Doug Allison. "I am really looking forward to seeing this young team mature and develop."
